11th European. FluteAcademy. Fiss. (E.F.Fiss) 28th July - 06th August 2011

This year marks the eleventh time that the European.FluteAcademy.Fiss (E.F.Fiss) will be held since it was first launched in 2000. Above all, the academy stands out by virtue of the international background of its instructors and participants, and enjoys huge popularity among the students due to the specific nature of the course.

The European.FluteAcademy.Fiss (E.F.Fiss) is directed at young professional musicians, offering them courses with prestigious international flautists. What makes the course so distinctive is that it gives active participants the opportunity to work their way through the repertoire with all four teachers. Special instruction for the piccolo is also offered.
Fiss, the course venue, consists of a little, idyllic village with 800 inhabitants situated 1,400 metres above sea level on a sunny plateau in the Tyrol. Fiss is a well known winter sports resort and host to extraordinary cultural encounters.
